BREAKING: President Tinubu Directs Procurement Bureau DG to Resign

President Bola Tinubu has directed Mr. Mamman Ahmadu to resign from his position as the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).

Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, announced in a statement that this directive is part of a broader reorganization effort aimed at enhancing efficiency and transparency within the public procurement system.

According to Ngelale, Mr. Ahmadu has been instructed to hand over his responsibilities to the most senior officer in the Bureau until a new Director-General is appointed. This interim arrangement is designed to ensure continuity in the Bureau’s operations during the transition period.

President Tinubu expressed his gratitude to Mr. Ahmadu for his service and wished him success in his future endeavors.
