Kwankwaso Gives Governor Yusuf High Marks for First Year Performance

Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso has praised Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his impressive performance during his first year in office in Kano State.

The commendation was made in a statement signed by Sunusi Bature, Director of Media and Publicity at the Government House, Kano, on Monday. The statement detailed Senator Kwankwaso’s remarks during a Sallah homage visit.

Senator Kwankwaso commended Governor Yusuf for his dedication to advancing education and women’s empowerment initiatives. He noted that these efforts align with the core values of the Kwankwasiyya philosophy, which emphasizes social justice and development.

“I am delighted with Governor Yusuf’s commitment to supporting women, particularly in rural areas. His substantial support for women’s empowerment is significant for the growth of rural entrepreneurship,” Kwankwaso stated.

Drawing from his experience as a former governor of Kano State, Senator Kwankwaso emphasized the importance of effective monitoring mechanisms to ensure the equitable distribution of empowerment grants. He highlighted the need for continuous oversight to guarantee that resources reach those who need them most.

Furthermore, Senator Kwankwaso called for enhanced efforts in improving security, empowering the less privileged, and advancing developmental projects. He underscored his commitment to providing valuable guidance and support to the government as a stakeholder dedicated to the state’s progress.

In response, Governor Yusuf expressed gratitude for Senator Kwankwaso’s mentorship. He reiterated his administration’s dedication to upholding the principles of the Kwankwasiyya movement, ensuring continued progress and development in Kano State. Governor Yusuf reaffirmed his commitment to building on the foundations laid during his first year, with a focus on sustainable development and inclusive growth.
