Kano, Nigeria – June 24, 2024: The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has announced the passing of his mother-in-law, Hajiya Asiya Muhammad Gauyama. The news comes with deep sorrow and heartfelt sympathy for the family and community.
Hajiya Gauyama, the beloved mother of Professor Hafsatu Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, was a respected matriarch known for her unwavering commitment to her family, community, and faith. Her passing is a significant loss to those who knew and loved her.
The funeral prayer for Gauyama is scheduled for today at 2 PM at the residence of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on Miyangu Road in Kano State.
In a statement, Edwin Olofu, Chief Press Secretary to the APC National Chairman, extended the party’s deepest sympathies to Professor Hafsatu Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and her family. “Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate through this period of grief and loss,” Olofu said.
