The Zamfara State government, under the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, has endorsed the Youth Alliance for National Transformation (YANT) and pledged to host the International Youth Day celebration.
On Thursday, June 28, 2024, Amb. Lukman Lawal, the National Coordinator of YANT, and other executive members were received by the Honorable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Tasiu Musa Shinkafi.
During the meeting at the Ministry, Commissioner Shinkafi officially endorsed YANT and pledged the Ministry’s support to organize an event in Zamfara State to join other states in marking the International Youth Day celebration.
The Ministry has generously offered logistical support for the event, which aims to empower young people and promote youth development in Zamfara State and across Nigeria.
The International Youth Day celebration, scheduled for August 12, promises to be an unforgettable event, featuring motivational speeches, panel discussions, and entertainment.
