Tinubu Appoints Salamatu Ahmed to Lead FG Staff Housing Loans Board

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Hajiya Salamatu Ahmed as the Executive Secretary of the Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board (FGSHLB).

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoSF), Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, announced this on Monday while presenting the appointment letter to Ahmed in her office.

This announcement was detailed in a statement released to the press in Abuja by Mohammed Ahmed, Director of Communications, Office of the Head of Service of the Federation.

Before her appointment, Hajiya Salamatu Ahmed was the Board’s Director of Operations. She succeeds Alhaji Ibrahim Mairiga, who is on terminal leave ahead of the expiration of his four-year tenure in September 2024.

In her congratulatory message, Yemi-Esan urged the new appointee to leverage her extensive experience to ensure the full realization of the Board’s core mandate.
