BREAKING: Senate Follows Ganduje’s Directive, Removes Ndume as Chief Whip

The Nigerian Senate has removed Senator Ali Ndume, representing Borno South senatorial district, from his position as Chief Whip.

Senator Tahir Monguno, representing Borno North senatorial district, has been announced as his replacement.

Ndume’s removal followed a directive from the National Chairman of the party, Umar Ganduje, and National Secretary, Senator Bashir Ajibola.

The request was put to a voice vote by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and was affirmed by all APC senators.
