The Zamfara State government has announced that it is still awaiting the delivery of 20 trucks of rice allocated by the Federal Government.
Malam Nuhu Salisu Anka, the Director General of Media and Communication to the Zamfara State Governor, informed journalists in a telephone interview that the Federal Government had announced the allocation before dispatching the consignment to the states.
“We are yet to receive our allocation of 20 trucks of rice approved by the Federal Government for Zamfara State,” Anka stated.
He further assured that as soon as the consignment arrives, he will notify the media to confirm the receipt of the allocation.
