The Nigeria Police Force has redeployed 30 inspectors and rank-and-file personnel assigned to Very Important Personalities, VIPs, to enhance its operational capacity ahead of the forthcoming #EndBadGovernance protests.
A memo issued by SP Anas Mohammed from the Department of Operations, SHQ Owerri, on July 29, 2024, with reference number AB: 4087/IMS/DOPS/SO/VOL.1/443, stated that this move is in preparation for the planned nationwide protest.
The affected personnel are scheduled to report to their new assignments on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
