The Katsina State Government has mandated the closure of all schools across the state, effective Wednesday.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by Sani Danjuma-Suleiman, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.
“This is to inform the public, particularly parents and guardians, that all schools will close tomorrow, Wednesday, marking the beginning of the third term holidays,” the statement read.
Parents are urged to ensure that their children, especially those in boarding schools, are picked up and returned home promptly. The directive applies to all schools, including private and community institutions, throughout the state.
