BREAKING: Court Dismisses Case Aimed at Halting #EndBadGovernance Protests

Justice Peter Lifu of the Nigerian High Court has dismissed a motion seeking to prevent Nigerians from participating in #EndBadGovernance protests. The motion, brought forward by Danladi Goje, Buky Abayomi, Adiza, and 13 others, was rejected earlier today.

Justice Lifu ruled that the protest, which had garnered significant public attention, had already concluded the previous week. Furthermore, the judge noted that the petitioners failed to provide sufficient evidence to suggest that the protesters intended to reconvene in the near future.

The court has scheduled the next hearing for August 29.

It is important to note that the organizers of the protests have vowed to resume demonstrations on October 1, 2024.
