President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to leave Abuja, the nation’s capital, for France on Monday, August 19. This announcement was made in a statement released on Sunday by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, titled “President Tinubu Travels to France on Monday.”
While the statement did not disclose the specific purpose of the visit, it noted that “The President will return to the country after his brief work stay in France.”
This marks President Tinubu’s fourth visit to France since taking office.
Since his inauguration, President Tinubu has embarked on multiple international trips. His destinations have included Equatorial Guinea; London, United Kingdom (twice); Bissau, Guinea-Bissau (twice); Nairobi, Kenya; Porto Novo, Benin Republic; Pretoria, South Africa; Accra, Ghana; New Delhi, India; Abu Dhabi and Dubai, United Arab Emirates; New York, United States; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (twice); Berlin, Germany; Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; Dakar, Senegal; and Doha, Qatar.
