The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has announced a significant profit of ₦3.3 trillion for the 2023 financial year, marking the highest profit in the company’s history.
Speaking to the press on Monday, NNPC Ltd.’s Chief Financial Officer, Alhaji Umar Ajiya, highlighted the milestone achievement, noting that this represents a substantial increase from the previous year.
In addition to the profit, NNPC Ltd. declared a dividend of ₦2.101 trillion for the 2023 financial year.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), this year’s profit surpasses the ₦2.548 trillion reported in 2022 by over ₦1 trillion, reflecting the national oil company’s robust performance amidst evolving market conditions.
