Governor Yusuf to Furnish Kano Schools With 50,000 Desks, Chairs

The Kano State Government has launched a significant initiative to fabricate 50,000 classroom desks and other essential school furniture, aiming to enhance the learning environment for students across the state.

This project is a key part of the government’s broader efforts to reduce the high number of out-of-school children in Kano. During a supervisory visit to the fabrication site, Governor Abba Yusuf expressed his satisfaction with the progress and praised the dedication of the workers involved.

“I am confident that the provision of this infrastructure will greatly benefit the education sector,” Governor Yusuf stated. “Moreover, this project not only aims to improve educational facilities but also provides an avenue for engaging young people in productive work, which will positively impact the economy.”

Governor Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring that quality and affordable education is accessible to all children in Kano. He emphasized that this initiative is a crucial step toward achieving that goal.

“The production of basic and essential furniture will significantly contribute to the standards of habitability in our schools, creating a better and more conducive learning environment for students,” the governor added.
