The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has commenced a 7-day nationwide warning strike across all its centers, effective from 12 a.m. on Monday, August 26, 2024.
The primary objective of the strike is to demand the immediate release of Dr. Ganiyat Popoola, who has been held in captivity for over eight months.
NARD President, Dr. Dele Abdullahi, announced the strike following an Emergency National Executive Council meeting, held virtually on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
