Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dr. Ganiyyat Aliyu, the esteemed Head of the Department of Science Education. Dr. Ganiyyat, who was also the wife of Mallam Muhammad Lawal Jabaka, passed away after undergoing surgery at a hospital in Sokoto.
Her death marks a significant loss to the academic community at FUGUS, where she was highly respected for her dedication to education and her contributions to the field of science. Dr. Ganiyyat’s colleagues and students remember her as a passionate educator who inspired many with her commitment to academic excellence.
