JUST IN: Dangote Explains Why Petrol from His Refinery Looks Clearer

Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, has revealed the reason behind the clearer appearance of the first batch of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, produced at his refinery.

During a broadcast at the refinery located in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, Dangote explained that the clearer petrol is designed to be more environmentally friendly, potentially reducing health issues associated with conventional, more polluted petroleum products.

He further elaborated that this improved petrol is also engineered to protect engines from damage typically caused by the lower-quality fuel currently available in the market.

“This is the sample of the petrol. You see it has a different color, but that is because it’s a superior product. You’re now going to have a good and authentic product,” Dangote stated.

Addressing the quality of the diesel produced at the refinery, Dangote added, “I’m sure Nigerians have not seen this color of diesel before. This is Euro-5 diesel, which contains less than 10 parts per million (PPM) of sulfur. This will significantly extend the lifespan of vehicles, engines, and generators.”

He emphasized the broader impact, stating, “The health of the people and the environment will not be compromised. This is the real deal.”
