Corps Members Benefit from State Governor’s Foodstuffs Donation

The Gombe State Government, on Monday, provided food items to Batch B, Stream II corps members undergoing the three-week National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation program in Amada, Akko Local Government Area.

This was announced in a press statement by Joshua Danmalam, Information Officer at the Secretary to the State Government’s office.

Representing Governor Yahaya Inuwa, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Adamu Inuwa, stated that the donation aimed to supplement the feeding arrangements at the camp, alleviating the impact of rising food prices.

Governor Inuwa conveyed his best wishes to the corps members, assuring them that Gombe is a welcoming and hospitable state.

The State Coordinator of the NYSC in Gombe, Chinwe Nwachuku, expressed her gratitude to the governor for his continued support and generosity. She added that she would inform the NYSC Director-General and senior management of the governor’s dedication to the program.
