Obasanjo Arrives Minna to Meets IBB, Abdulsalam, Aliyu Gusau for High-Level Talks

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo arrived in Minna, Niger State, on Sunday evening and proceeded directly to the hilltop residence of former Military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB).

According to reports from Leadership Newspaper, Obasanjo’s chartered flight touched down in Minna at approximately 4:15 p.m. He had earlier been in Benin City, where he attended the 90th birthday celebration of Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion.

Upon his arrival in Minna, Obasanjo joined a gathering at Babangida’s residence. Other notable figures in attendance included former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd) and former National Security Adviser General Aliyu Gusau (rtd).

While the exact purpose of the visit has not been disclosed, the meeting of these high-profile leaders has fueled speculation regarding its potential impact on Nigeria’s political landscape.
