BREAKING: 2024 NECO Internal Exam Results Officially Released

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the release of the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) internal results.

This was revealed on Thursday, September 19, by NECO Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Wushishi, during a press briefing in Minna, Niger State.

Professor Wushishi also disclosed that NECO had blacklisted 21 supervisors across 12 states and de-recognized one school in Ekiti State for engaging in mass cheating in two core subjects and a science subject.

He explained that the supervisors were blacklisted for offenses such as poor supervision, aiding and abetting malpractice, absconding from duty, extortion, negligence, and even drunkenness.

“Forty schools were found to have been involved in whole-school mass cheating across 17 states. These schools will be invited for a discussion with the council, after which appropriate sanctions will be applied,” Wushishi added.
