BREAKING: Tinubu Appoints Seven Executive Directors for NTA

President Bola Tinubu has appointed seven new executive directors for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), reinforcing his administration’s focus on revitalizing the nation’s media landscape.

The appointments were made public through a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Friday. The release, titled “President Tinubu Appoints Seven Executive Directors for NTA,” highlighted the qualifications and roles of the new appointees.

Among the reappointments is Ayo Adewuyi, who retains his position as Executive Director of News.

The other appointees are:

  • Ibrahim Aliyu, a legal practitioner, as Executive Director of Special Duties.
  • Muhammed Mustapha as Executive Director of Administration and Training.
  • Mrs. Apinke Effiong as Executive Director of Finance. She brings expertise in financial marketing, treasury management, and reporting.
  • Mrs. Tari Taylaur, an accomplished audio-visual creator, producer, and showrunner, as Executive Director of Programmes.
  • Mr. Sadique Omeiza as Executive Director of Engineering.
  • Mrs. Oluwakemi Fashina, a seasoned integrated marketing communications professional and chartered marketer, as Executive Director of Marketing.

These appointments mark a significant step in reshaping NTA’s leadership, with each individual bringing specialized skills to strengthen the organization’s operations and programming.
