NECO Introduces ₦50,000 Fee for Certificate Reprints

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced that candidates seeking to reprint their certificates will now be required to pay ₦50,000. This new fee structure was disclosed by NECO Registrar, Dantani Wushishi, in an official statement released from Minna, Niger State.

Wushishi also stated that the ₦50,000 charge is subject to periodic reviews, hinting that the fee could be adjusted in the future.

Additionally, NECO clarified that requests for certificate reprints must be made within one year of the original certificate issuance. After this one-year period, the council will no longer process such requests.

The council further imposed a one-month deadline for candidates to submit any requests for the correction of examination results, as part of its updated administrative policies.
