Iran’s Missile Attack a ‘Big Mistake’, Retaliation Assured – Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a stern warning to Iran following what he described as an attack orchestrated by Tehran.

“Iran made a big mistake tonight – and it will pay for it,” Netanyahu stated firmly. He emphasized that the assault bore the “deliberate and murderous hand” of Iran’s leadership.

Reaffirming Israel’s long-standing defense policy, Netanyahu added, “We will stand by the rule we established: whoever attacks us, we will attack them.”

Although Tehran claimed that nearly 90% of their missiles hit their intended targets, Netanyahu downplayed the effectiveness of the attack, stating it had “failed.” Reports from the ground and sources in the U.S. indicate that the majority of missiles were intercepted, with no immediate reports of damage, injuries, or casualties within Israel.

In response, Israeli officials have vowed a decisive retaliation. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief Spokesman warned that Israel’s counterattack would be “painful” and delivered at a time of its choosing.
