Iranian General Threatens Israel’s Energy Sector with Missile Strikes

Tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate as a senior commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned of potential strikes on Israeli infrastructure in the event of war.

On Friday, IRGC Deputy Commander-in-Chief Ali Fadavi stated that Iranian forces would likely target Israel’s refineries and energy sources, according to local media reports.

This follows an already heightened atmosphere in the region, with Iran reportedly firing approximately 200 missiles at Israel on Tuesday.

The missile barrage came in retaliation for a series of Israeli assassinations of key figures in Iran’s network of non-state allies, which included high-ranking IRGC commanders.

These developments signal the deepening of hostilities between the two nations, raising concerns about further military escalations.
