Zamfara PDP Chieftain Criticizes APC’s Distraction Tactics, Emphasizes Focus on Governance

The Zonal Vice Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Zamfara Central, Kabiru Musa Agege, has raised concerns over what he describes as distraction tactics employed by the opposition, All Progressives Congress (APC), in the state’s political landscape. Speaking to The Spectacles, Agege singled out two former governors, Bello Matawalle and Abdulaziz Yari, as leading figures in these efforts to divert attention from the ongoing progress under the current administration.

Agege stated, “The political landscape in Zamfara State has been marked by a recent attempt by the opposition party, the APC, to distract the ruling party. However, the people of Zamfara have spoken through their votes, and it is clear that these tactics will not succeed.”

Despite the actions of the opposition, Agege emphasized that Governor Dauda Lawal and the PDP leadership have maintained their focus on governance, prioritizing the delivery of essential services and development initiatives to improve the lives of Zamfara’s citizens. The ruling party, he noted, has remained undeterred by attempts to sow discord.

“The PDP and the people of Zamfara have remained resilient and unified in the face of these distractions,” he added. “We are committed to the progress and development of our state.”

As Zamfara continues its journey forward, Agege called for cooperation among all political parties and leaders, stressing that the focus should be on the state’s development rather than political bickering. He reiterated that the recent election results reflect the people’s clear desire for progress, showing that Zamfara cannot be swayed by opposition tactics.

The call for unity and collaboration comes at a crucial time as the PDP government works to deliver on its promises to the people, and Agege’s remarks reflect the party’s confidence in its agenda for Zamfara’s future.
