Faisal Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, son of former Kaduna State Governor Ahmed Makarfi, has tragically passed away following a fatal road accident on Saturday evening.
According to family sources, the accident occurred along the Kaduna-Zaria dual carriageway. Faisal was rushed to an undisclosed hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead. His father, Ahmed Makarfi, was present at the hospital. Arrangements are now underway for Faisal’s burial.
Faisal Makarfi was a civil engineer by profession. He attended Kaduna International School and later Adesoye College in Offa, Kwara State, for his secondary education. He went on to pursue his higher education at the University of Greenwich in London, where he earned both his undergraduate and Master’s degrees. At the time of his death, Faisal was enrolled as a PhD student at the same university.
