DSS Appoints New Chief Security Officer to President Tinubu

The Department of State Services (DSS) has appointed Rasheed Atanda Lawal, a Deputy Director, as the new Chief Security Officer (CSO) to President Bola Tinubu, replacing Adegboyega Fasasi. Fasasi, who has held the position since Tinubu’s inauguration, is stepping down to pursue a professional training program, according to sources.

Details surrounding the change remain sparse, but insiders suggest that DSS Director-General Tosin Ajayi requested President Tinubu’s approval to release Fasasi for this strategic training opportunity.
