The Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed the case against 119 individuals who participated in the nationwide #EndBadGovernance protests.
Justice Obiora Egwuatu, presiding over the case, ruled to strike it out after an application from M.D. Abubakar, representing the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF). Abubakar requested the court’s permission to allow the AGF to assume control over the case and subsequently discontinue it.
The court granted Abubakar’s request during Tuesday’s session, officially ending the legal proceedings against the protesters.
