NECO Reschedules Timetable for 2024 Senior School Certificate Exam

The National Examination Council (NECO) has announced an adjustment to the timetable for the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External, in light of the upcoming governorship election in Ondo State.

This update was shared on NECO’s official website on Monday under the notice titled, “Adjusted 2024 SSCE External Timetable.” NECO has advised candidates to review the revised timetable for specific changes, especially for the affected exam date.

The notice read: “Please note that the 2024 SSCE External Timetable has been adjusted due to the Ondo Governorship Election on Saturday, 16th November 2024.

“The adjusted timetable is now available and should be reviewed alongside the original timetable. Candidates should check the changes for Saturday, 16th November.”

Additionally, NECO reminded candidates of the important registration deadlines, stating that standard registration will close on 6th November 2024. Late registration will commence on 7th November, while walk-in registration, which includes additional fees, will be available starting 13th November.

NECO encouraged examination candidates to act promptly and stay informed to avoid any last-minute inconveniences.
