The Founder and Life Member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, has announced that the party’s board will convene on November 8, 2024, to make key decisions, following a recent court directive.
This announcement follows an Abia State High Court ruling mandating the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to transfer the NNPP’s management and administrative responsibilities to the BoT, led by Aniebonam.
Speaking at a media briefing in Lagos, Aniebonam, who also founded the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), confirmed that Rabiu Kwankwaso, a prominent figure in the NNPP, remains suspended from the party.
