In what appears to be a true reflection of genuine rescue to people in Zamfara State, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu, the representative for Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency, has directed the immediate payment of registration fees for all Zamfara indigenes studying at the Federal University Gusau (FUG) who have not yet settled their school fees.
This decision follows reports indicating that some students, despite the commencement of semester examinations, were unable to pay their fees and risked missing their exams.
Hon. Zannan Bungudu assured that all affected students should proceed to the university to participate in their exams from Tuesday, as arrangements have been made for the payment of their fees.
A statement issued by Aminu Lawal Bungudu, Chief Spokesman for the Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency, emphasized that no Zamfara indigene, regardless of their local government area, would be excluded from this generous initiative.
The statement congratulated the beneficiaries and wished them academic success, describing the move as a “noble and future-saving gesture.”
