Three Infamous Terror Leaders Killed in Katsina Ambush

The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed the demise of three notorious terrorist leaders in a recent altercation within the Katsina State region. Abubakar Aliyu, the command’s spokesperson, revealed this information in a Tuesday release, affirming the elimination of these terrorist figures during a Saturday shootout with the police.

Reportedly, the confrontation erupted when the terrorists engaged a police patrol team around Kwarare in Jibia Local Government Area of the state, opening fire on the officers. In response, the police retaliated, leading the terrorists to abandon their intentions and flee into nearby bushes.

Following the skirmish, a subsequent clearing operation unveiled the lifeless body of Bala Wuta, a notorious bandits leader known for instilling fear in the LGA and its vicinity. Additionally, the recovered bodies included those of Dogo Na Sahura and Hassan Bukuru, both known for their terrorizing activities within the area.

The statement from the police further outlined that the search of the scene and surrounding bushes yielded the discovery of three neutralized suspected terrorists, along with a motorcycle belonging to the bandits. Law enforcement efforts continue in pursuit of the fleeing suspects, concurrently conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.

Commending the professionalism, synergy, and valor of the operatives involved, Aliyu Abubakar-Musa, the Commissioner of Police, urged the maintenance of such diligence. Additionally, he advised reporting individuals with suspicious injuries to the nearest police station or other security agencies, as some of the bandits might have escaped with gunshot wounds.
