Governor Ademola Adeleke has granted approval for a ₦15,000 monthly wage award to active civil servants in Osun State, with pensioners receiving ₦10,000.
This wage award, effective from December 2023, will extend for six months, as revealed in a statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed.
The initiative is part of Governor Adeleke’s commitment to workers’ welfare and serves as a palliative measure to alleviate the impact of the subsidy removal.
In a circular issued by Permanent Secretary Sunday Olugbenga Fadele, the governor emphasized the government’s dedication to improving the welfare of workers, expressing gratitude for their understanding and commitment.
