The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has refuted claims of an impending petrol price increase and clarified that it did not clash with petroleum marketers regarding subsidy removal.
In a statement, Chief Corporate Communications Officer Olufemi Soneye emphasized that there are no plans for a rise in the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
Motorists are urged to ignore baseless rumors and avoid panic-buying, as there is sufficient petrol availability nationwide.
