The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced it’s intention to collaborate with the Hospitals Management Board for the medical screening of all intending pilgrims who are willing to perform this year Hajj from Bauchi state.
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris made the declaration when he led a delegation of management for a courtesy call on the Executive Secretary Bauchi State Hospital management Board in his office.
He stated that all intending pilgrims most undergo a medical screening to acertain the level of his medical position with a view to give him a desired care.
Imam Abdurrahman added that medical screening is compulsory to all intending pilgrims, failure to do may lead to lose of the chance to partake the pilgrimage.
He stressed the need for all intending pilgrims to go to specialist Hospital for the excercise, saying his Board will not entertain any medical report which was not been signed by the Specialist Hospitals.
Imam Abdurrahman therefore saught the support and cooperation of the Bauchi State Hospital management Board ahead of the medical screening excercise.
Iresponding the Executive Secretary Bauchi State Hospital management Board Dr. Muhammad Sambo Alkali expressed his Board readiness to support and cooperate with the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board to achieve it’s objective.
According to him,The staff of the Hospital management Board across the state are ready to work with the pilgrims Board to ensure all pilgrims are screen in order to meet the requirements of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON and Saudi Arabia.
