Bauchi State Government has commenced the payment of compensation to the people affected by the Award of contracts for the construction roads and Two 2 flyover bridges in the State.
The Chairman Bauchi standing Committee for the assessment and payment of compensation of the properties affected by the road construction across the state, Alh. Nuru Adamu Jumba Chiroman Bauchi stated this during the compensation excercise held today at the former State Development Board, presently known as Bauchi state Infrastructural Development and Maitainance Agency (BASIDMA).
He noted that payment excercise is part of the commitment of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad administration to put smile on the faces of those whose properties has been affected by the proposed infrastructural development in Bauchi State.
Nuru Adamu Jumba stressed that the Committee had begun it’s first phase of the compensation excercise, adding that the Committee has made payment to those affected by the proposed construction of Winti Market Flyover Bridge.
He used the medium to advise other individuals whose their properties has already been assessed for the compensation to prepare their necessary documents, such as passport photograph of the beneficiary and any of these identification: Voters card, National Identity Card, Drivers licence or International passport.
Alh. Nuru Adamu Jumba concluded by applauding the committee members for their unflinching contribution and support to the success of the excercise, urged them to maintain the tempo.
