After a heated dispute with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf over the Hisbah Board’s actions, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa has been reinstated as its Commander in Kano State.
The reconciliation, mediated by a coalition of Ulama and Islamic organizations, resolved the conflict.
Daurawa’s resignation, sparked by public criticism of the Hisbah Board’s methods, caused uproar in Kano and beyond.
However, following a series of discussions, he has now resumed his role, ending a period of uncertainty.
