The Kaduna State Government has announced the liberation of the 287 schoolchildren abducted from Kuriga, Chikun Local Government Area.

Governor Senator Uba Sani confirmed the release in a statement issued today.

“We are relieved to inform that the Kuriga school children have been safely reunited with their families,” stated Governor Sani.

He expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to national security and ensuring the safe return of the abducted children. Governor Sani also praised the Nigerian Army for their bravery and dedication, underscoring their vital role in restoring security.

Today’s news brings relief and joy to the nation, with Governor Sani extending gratitude to all Nigerians for their prayers and support throughout this challenging ordeal.
