JUST IN: Binance Executive Escaped From Custody, NSA confirms

Binance executive Nadeem Anjarwalla has reportedly escaped from custody, according to the Office of the National Security Adviser.

Anjarwalla, a suspect in the ongoing probe into Binance’s activities in Nigeria, allegedly fled on Friday using a smuggled passport.

The ONSA, along with relevant security agencies and the international community, is working to apprehend him.

The escape has prompted investigations into the circumstances, with the personnel responsible for his custody already arrested.

Anjarwalla, a British and Kenyan national serving as Binance’s Africa regional manager, was under a 14-day remand order by a Nigerian court before his escape. The public and international community are urged to provide any information that could aid in his arrest.

This development follows previous arrests and a request by the EFCC for data from Binance as part of ongoing negotiations with Nigeria.
