Katsina Adds Friday as Public Holiday for Eid-el-Fitr

In light of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan fasting, the Katsina State Government has declared Friday, April 12, 2024, as a non-working day to allow workers to celebrate with their families.

Governor Dikko Radda, through a statement issued by Commissioner for Information and Culture, Bala Zango, emphasized the importance of enabling residents to fully participate in the Sallah festivities.

This announcement follows the Federal Government’s extension of Eid-el-Fitr public holidays to Thursday, April 11.

Governor Radda expressed wishes for a joyous and peaceful Sallah celebration, urging citizens to remain vigilant about security and to pray for peace across the state and the nation.
