Murjanatu Zubairu, a 400-level student of the University of Abuja, Department of Arts Education, Faculty of Education, has been reported missing by her family. According to her uncle, Alhaji Zubairu Jibrin Yewuti, who is a former vice chairman of Kwali Area Council of the FCT, Murjanatu left her home in Piwoyi on Friday morning to go to school but has not been heard from since. Her phone has been switched off, adding to the concern of her family and friends.
Efforts to locate Murjanatu have been intensified, with the family reaching out to both the university management and security agencies. The public is urged to provide any information that could lead to her whereabouts, either to the university authorities or the nearest police station.
The FCT Police Command, through spokeswoman SP Adeh Josephine, has been contacted for further details regarding the ongoing search efforts. Updates on the situation will be provided as soon as they become available.
