His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, celebrated the achievements of three distinguished indigenes of the state who have ascended to prominent positions in the judiciary and federal service. The individuals honored include Justices Abdulaziz Anka, Jummai Lawal Gummi, and Dr. Maryam Isma’il Keshinro, who were sworn in as Court of Appeal Judge, Federal High Court Judge, and Federal Permanent Secretary, respectively. The swearing-in ceremony took place on Wednesday in Abuja.
In a statement issued to The Spectacles by Suleman Ahmad Tudu, the Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Office of the Secretary to the State Government, it was noted that the Governor, represented by the Secretary to the Zamfara State Government, Malam Abubakar Mohammed Nakwada, described the appointments as well-deserved. He emphasized the importance of these roles and encouraged the appointees to serve as exemplary ambassadors of Zamfara State at the federal level.
