Over one 1,000 prospective JAMB candidates have partook in Computer Basic Training CBT by Zamfara based Non-governmental Organisation, Mubarak Magaji Foundation.
Aim of the project, according to the chairman of the foundation, Alhaji Mubarak Magaji is to empower the students with the wherewithal and be capable to operate and insert answers correctly in this year’s JAMB examinations.
Other beneficiaries of the project are students with various academic financial problems which the foundation settled.
Over 500 women were also empowered with N5,000 each to engaged in petty.
The gesture, according to Mubarak, is to assist the women to be engage in petty trading with a view to reducing over-dependence on their husbands.
He stressed that the foundation, though not politically associated, aims at complementing the state governor, Bello Muhammad’s efforts to reduced redundancy in various communities of the state adding that selection of beneficiaries were based on merit irrespective of party affiliation.
