Mai Palace Honours Islamic Clerics With Motor Vehicles

No fewer than 20 brand new motor vehicles distributed freely to the prominent Islamic Clerics across the state for the encouragement and giving helping hand towards propagation of the religious activities everywhere in the country.

The gesture distributed by the house member, representing Gusau/Tsafe federal constituency, Honourable Kabiru Amadu (Mai Palace) who has became a stick to the objectives of public service by providing the people with the essential dividends of democracy in order to ensure a stable and a developing society devoid of violence.

The distribution of the vehicles which accorded a practical equality has attracted thousands of adherents from the every sect of the Islamic followers, which leisures majority calling him ‘Miftahul khair’ due to his wonderful programs that positively impacted the good people of the highest calibre in the state.

Mai Palace is indeed golden, because he has significantly touched the lives of generality in the provision of democracy’s dividends which he has quietly achieved a lot in terms of his many interventions on youth empowerments, poverty alleviations, educational support, portable water supply, humanitarian services, and also restoring practical equality of all the people of the state, especially giving a position of esteem and respect to Muslim scholars who have been denied the necessary dividends of democracy by the previous legislators, despite the fact that they are playing a vital role in promoting social reform and peace co-existence in the society.

Muslim scholars in the post prophetic time, enjoy a form of authority that derives from their status as “heirs of the prophets”. Thus, Allah (s.w.t) makes obeying and honouring them greater than obeying parents when He says: “O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (s.a.w), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority” (Qur’an, 4:59)

Consequently, people of Gusau and Tsafe are very much luckier for this rare opportunity of having such a selfless leader, kind man and a great advocate, a leader with impeccable character who is above all the narrow feeling of a family and friends bias and partisan spirit. He devoted to only what he believed as the highest benefit both for himself and his people.

According to the Hadith narrated by Ibn ʻUmar that the Prophet, (s.a.w), said, “The dearest person to Allah is the one who is the most beneficial to people. The dearest deed to Allah (s.w.t) is bringing happiness to a Muslim, dispelling a grief from him, settling his debt, or feeding him while he is hungry. It is dearer to me to support my Muslim brother in satisfying a need than to make iʻtikaaf in the mosque of Medina for a month.” [At-Tabraani]

We therefore urge Hon Mai Palace to keep doing his good work, not to relent in his purposeful, effective and people-oriented representation, because the future is bright on his sides and we shall continue to give him all the necessary cooperation toward his effort in trying to restore practical equality of ensuring dividends of democracy are equally shared so as to salvage people from the shackles of abject poverty.

The Islamic sects who were justifiably recognised and honoured by the Honourable Kabiru Amadu (Mai Palace) included Jama’atul Izalatul Bid’a Wa’ikamatus Sunna, Tijjaniyya Movement chapter, Jama’atul Nasrul Islam (JNI), Salafi sect and Jama’atul Tajdidil Islam (JTI).
