Sequel to the legal victory of our party and declaration of Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna as the winner of Kano State 2023 gubernatorial election by Kano State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal today. APC Intellectuals Forum (AIF) wishes to extend its heartily congratulations to Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and his running mate Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo for this well-deserved victory.
The Forum also likes to sincerely congratulate the APC National Chairman, His Excellency, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR, APC State Chairman, Alh. Abdullahi Abbas, Director General, Campaign Council of GawunaGaro-2023, Engineer Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, party officials, party members, support groups and entire good people of Kano State.
The court victory of our great party is indeed, as a result of the good will and intensive prayers of the majority of the good people of Kano State, to reclaim their stolen mandate.
Today, the will of the majority has spoken and justice has prevailed. Therefore, Kano State will be great again and be at the hands of those whose campaign slogan is “justice and fairness for all“.
The Forum urges the Ousted Governor, His Excellency, Abba Kabir Yusuf to concede defeat and congratulate Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna as the dully elected Executive Governor, Kano State, if he truly means well and loves the progress and prosperity of our dear state.
The forum further calls on all supporters and members of our great party, who are well known as the law abiding citizens, peace lovers and patriotic Nigerians, not to do anything in the course of celebrating the court victory that might jeopardize the peace, harmony and prosperity of our dear state.
