Supreme Court Verdict: Zamfara APC Plans Mandate Reclamation in 2027

The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) acknowledges the Supreme Court’s decision to set aside the appeal court judgment affirming the election of Governor Dauda Lawal. In a press statement released by the party’s publicity secretary, it emphasizes that politics should not be a do-or-die affair.

The party urges its supporters to accept the judgment as God’s rightful decision, emphasizing that 2027 will provide another opportunity to test political power.

“I do not believe that the party has lost, but rather, I believe that the courts have cheated us,” he added. “However, 2027 is another year, and we are confident that we will reclaim our mandate from the ruling PDP government.”

Despite the apex court’s judgment, no casualties have been recorded, indicating relative peace in the state. Additionally, it has come to light that several political parties in the state are actively pursuing alliances with the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
