Bauchi Partners Foreign Investors to Boost Tourism Dev. in Yankari Games Reserves

Bauchi state government, under the leadership of Senator Bala Mohammad, is taking strides towards enhancing economic development, particularly in tourism. Plans are underway to collaborate with foreign investors to bolster international investment in the sector, aiming to attract more revenue and foster sustainable growth.

Governor Bala Mohammad emphasized the commitment to this partnership, highlighting the deployment of necessary mechanisms to harness the tourism potential of Yankari Games Reserves, Sumu Wildlife Conservation Parks, Lame Games Reserves, Maladumba Lakes, and other tourist attractions in the state.

Yankari Games Reserve stands out as a premier African tourism destination, boasting a diverse array of wildlife, top-notch security, and world-class accommodations at affordable rates. The General Manager, Dr. Nasir Mohammad Yusuf, disclosed the governor’s efforts to elevate the standard of the reserve through collaboration with investors, aiming for greater investment opportunities and sustainable revenue generation.

Furthermore, the state government has forged a partnership with the Federal Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creativity to develop policies and strategies for the enhancement of Yankari Games Reserve and other tourism centers in Bauchi state.

Governor Bala Mohammad reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to accountable governance and investment promotion, underscoring the importance of infrastructure development for the welfare of citizens.
