JUST IN: Tinubu Names Ja’afar, Other Key Appointments in Education, Chieftaincy

President Bola Tinubu has named Brigadier-General Lawal Ja’afar Isa (Rtd) as the new Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education, emphasizing a commitment to addressing educational challenges.

Additionally, Alhaji Tijani Hashim Abbas has been appointed as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Chieftaincy Matters, marking a strategic step towards fostering traditional leadership.

These appointments, disclosed by Special adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, underscore Tinubu’s dedication to leveraging seasoned leadership for societal progress.

General Ja’afar Isa, renowned for his leadership during his tenure as Military Administrator of Kaduna State from 1993 to 1996, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Meanwhile, Alhaji Tijani Hashim Abbas, known as the Sarkin Sudan Kano, is expected to offer invaluable insights into chieftaincy dynamics.
