In a series of attacks on Zurmi and Maru Local Government Areas of Zamfara State, bandits have left four dead and six abducted.
The assailants targeted Zurmi town, attempting to breach the palace of an Emir and former military administrator Col. Bala Mande (Rtd). Despite security measures, three individuals were killed, three abducted, and the MTN mast was set ablaze, disrupting telecom services.
Similarly, Maru town fell victim to banditry, resulting in one fatality and three abductions. The raids prompted many residents, particularly women and children, to flee for safety.
