1. JAMB DE form is distinct from the UTME form, specifically for candidates applying for admission into the first year of a university program.
2. Registration is exclusive to JAMB offices.
3. Applying for both JAMB DE and UTME in the same year is not permitted.
4. JAMB recognizes and accepts twelve qualifications/certificates.
5. Statement of result is valid for registration within three years of the date of award.
6. Upgrade from UTME to DE is available for specific candidates.

• DE fee for 2024/2025 is N3,500, with additional charges for CBT Centre registration service, mock/UTME, and bank commissions.
• Total cost is N6,200 for candidates not taking the MOCK examination and N7,700 for those sitting for MOCK.
Registration Process:
1. Create your JAMB profile by texting your NIN to 55019 or 66019, then log into the JAMB portal with the received code.
2. Visit an accredited bank, CBT Centre, or embassy for the JAMB e-PIN, using the confirmation code.
3. After sending a message to 55019 or 66019, receive a 10-digit profile code, registered name with NIMC, and total cost information.
