Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has reaffirmed commitment to educational development of the state by providing ample opportunity and support to every indigene to seek for knowledge. He is appealing to students to rededicate themselves to study hard for academic excellence.

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu implored muslims to uphold and practice the tenets of Islam in words and deeds. Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu pledged support to the Muslim students society of Nigeria MSSN towards instilling good virtues in the society and donated two million naira to the Association.
He was happy about the performance of Kebbi state delegation to the last conference held last year in Kwara state, calling on them to sustain such remarkable disposition.
In separate remarks, former Special Adviser on Religious Affairs, Sheikh Umar Isah, Sheikh Mujtaba Abubakar of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic Birnin Kebbi, Engineer Isma’ila Chindo Gotomo and Dr. Ja’afar Augie Secretary KECHEMA, thanked the Governor for his contribution to the development of Islamic education and his support to students.
The National Ameer, Sheikh Shehu Usman Abubakar Gwandu and Kebbi state Ameer, Nafi’u Makama Argungu highlighted proposed projects for execution by the Association, towards societal development.
Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was presented with certificate of participation while awards were presented to winners of the last conference in Kwara State where Kebbi state emerged winner for first and second positions.
Other dignitaries at the ceremony which took place at the FOMWAN Secretariat Makerar Gandu Area, Birnin Kebbi were the Commissioner of Finance, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad Augie, Dr. Nasir Abubakar Kigo Executive Secretary Local Government Pension Board, Islamic scholars, students from various tertiary institutions and representative of Ubandoman Gwandu, Muhammad Abubakar.
Prayers were offered on the occasion for GOD’s intervention in the security and social challenges facing the country.
